Looking For Projects
I spent much of the winter looking for creative entry points around Tucson. A lot of time behind the wheel, walking neighborhoods, circling ideas — trying to see if anything could open up into a long-term project. I brought a 35mm camera with me most of the time, shooting loosely as a way to stay engaged. After a year of working almost exclusively with medium format, the shift to 35mm felt lighter, less committed. But that looseness also had its place — it allowed for a kind of searching without pressure.
