ABOUT:

Levi Christiansen is a furniture designer and photographer based in Tucson, Arizona.

Influenced by the forms, textures, and tones unique to the Sonoran Desert, Levi’s lifelong adoration of his natural environment continually informs his work.

In 2008, after studying at the Brookes Institute of Photography, Levi moved to New York to assist photographers Bruce Weber, Jonas Fredwall Karlsson, and Graciela Iturbide and photograph commercial, editorial, and book projects. In 2016, Levi led the design, development, and introduction of the hard goods category for the home goods brand Tuft & Needle, resulting in multiple best-selling bedframes later introduced at Crate & Barrel. In 2021, Levi established his design studio with the debut of his five-piece collection, Shapes from Home, with furniture manufacturer Solido, followed most recently by his seven-piece collection, Big Wednesday, in collaboration with Lawson Fenning.
